Biovita Earth for Fern 5L

BIOVITA Fern Earth is a ready-made, proven, multi-component substrate for fern cultivation. Properly selected chemical and physical composition provides plants with favorable conditions for development and vegetation, allowing to maintain the beautiful greenery of the plant.
The substrate is enriched with micro- and macroelements selected specifically for ferns, which promote the growth of plants. The high peat contained in the mixture provides very good water storage, a loose substrate structure and provides a large amount of caries, which promotes better root development. However, constant humidity should be maintained without over-shed, for this purpose it is worth using a drainage layer e.g. biovita expanded clay.

The best position for ferns is a place with scattered light, not exposed to full sun. During the winter, we stop fertilizing and limit watering.

Biovita fern soil contains an appropriate starting dose of fertilizer, therefore, after transplanting plants, the substrate does not require fertilization for about 3-4 weeks.
